1. In Parapa Desert, head south and you'll come upon a patch of grass after a bridge scene. There is a Heart Container guarded by a Goriya.
2. There is a Heart Container in a cave, blocked by a boulder, right next to the cave you emerge from after getting the Hammer.
3. Out in the sea near the Fifth Palace is a square with a Heart Container. Use the Winged Boots to get it.
4. At the beach around the Sixth Palace is a square with a Heart Container. It can be found in the Southeastern corner of the beach.
