Alloa got a convincing win in a one sided match. Forfar never really looked like scoring, though they had a shot cleared off the line. Brown Ferguson struck and the parried shot fell for Hamilton to tap in.

In the 44^th minute some good skill from Richard Walker set up Hamilton for his second of the game. Walker weaved through the defense and left Hamilton to slot it in.

Hamilton put the result beyond doubt when he completed his hat-trick on 64 minutes. Richard Walker then added a good goal to round off the game four minutes from time.
