It is an indigenously
made electronic-computer based product for monitoring/controlling
humidity and temperature.
The system was made using 89C52 Micro-controller and software written
in Microsoft Visual C++6.
The hardware is a micro-controller based system used to detect humidity
and temperature in the enviroment and displays them in a LCD Display.
the system can also store humidity and temperature for a week. This
hardware can work stand-alone or could also be interfaced to a computer
through a Serial-Communication cable.
The software can communicate with 16 such sensors simultaneously
through a communication HUB designed specifically for this system.
This system also generates alarm at real-time if the humidity or
temperature goes out of range and also has the facility to attach
Humidifiers to control humidity.
The overall system has the features

- Capability to connect to 16 Sensors at a same time which may
be upto 1 KM apart.
- Capability to configure the sensors through software
- Through both hardware and software, humidity and temperature
limits can be changed so that an alarm is raised if they go out
of range.
- Humidifiers can be connected to the system to control humidity
- Humidity and temperature at the software end can be viewed in
normal mode or in graphical mode.
- Two types of graph support (Bar graph and line graph)
- The humidity is saved in the database after every 5 minutes.
- Status of all the sensors and their values can be seen on a
remote computer through TCP/IP based communication.
- Additional option to send sms when ever humidity or temperature
goes out of range.
