Crystals I Beginning Crystal Knowledge and Cleansing: Crystals have a natural attunement to energy and the Force and because of that are great for using in meditation and healing. They are naturally absorbing energy all the time. Although a number of crystals dissolve negative energy, for the most part crystals don’t differ what kind of energy it absorbs good or bad. When you first buy or receive a crystal you must cleanse it for that very reason that it more then likely has collected negative energy, because every time a person touches and handles it, the crystal will absorb energy, and if the environment it was perviously in was not a happy one it would have picked up the negativity from there as well. There are many ways to cleanse a crystal, one of the easier and more common one to do is soak it in salt water. The salt water removes it of dirty energy because, Water has the ability to absorb dirty energy and salt has the ability to break it down. It is best to let it soak for about 30 minutes to and hour if not more, it depends how much dirty energy it has collected if you are unsure you can never cleanse it for too long to keep that in mind. Another thing to keep in mind, along with removing dirty energy you are also removing any programing a former owner might have put into the crystal, kind of like wiping out the memory of a computer to put new software in it. Charging: After the crystal has been cleansed it is important that you charge it with your own energy. Doing so will allow the crystal to start attuning itself to your specific energy frequency and aura, and in time the work you and your crystal do will be even more effective from this attunement. It is important after you first cleanse it you be in a happy mood and that the environment around you be somewhat happy too (this will contribute to your mood) because like said earlier it can absorb negative and positive energy and feeding it negative energy will defeat the whole purpose of cleansing it. After it is attuned to your specific energy and if you attuned it to your positive energy the crystal will have more resistance to absorbing negative energy, and will require very little to no cleansing. To charge it first hold the crystal in your right hand (the hand used for emitting energy) and get into your meditative state. Call upon the living force in you and allow it to flow out into your hand and into the crystal. You should feel the crystal pulse as this is happening. Do this for about 30 minutes or more. You will need to charge your crystal more then once before it is attuned to your specific energy flow, but when it is it will increase your overall energy field and if charged with the positive energy can increase your mood. Beginning Crystal: For the first crystal your get it is usually best to get a clear quartz, because it is a universal stone and is more programmable then any other which makes it easier to use, but also more complex to discover later on and will prepare you for using other crystals. Clear Quartz vibrates at a white light and because white light holds all colors of the spectrum it is able to vibrate at any frequency and thus can attune itself to your complete energy and not the energy flowing from a certain chakra, but all of them. When I say the stone is programmable, what that means is: A crystal does not have any will. Therefore, it follows instructions without resistance. Which is the benefit of attuning the crystal to you, you’ll be able to program it much better and stronger then when you first get it. The more things you program a crystal to do the less efficient each thing will be because they must also do other things as well. It is best to undo the program a crystal after done using it if it is only a limited thing. For example when you first get the crystal you can tell it to attune to your energy and when you charge it the crystal will absorb and attune itself faster then if you just let it gradual do it by just charging alone, but after it has been attuned there is no need to let it continue to attune itself at full focus when you can use it to do other things it let it gradually become more and more attuned, so you should tell it to stop concentrating on attuning. Shielding: Clear Quartz is also a great stone for putting up your permanent shield agaisn’t Disharmonic Elements. This is because of the properties stated before of it’s easy to program nature and it’s ability to vibrate at any frequency. Healing: Healing is a man focus when using stones and incoordination with your meditations and own healing abilities crystals can increase your effectiveness by great amounts even 100 fold. The easiest way to increase it is to just hold it in your left hand (the receiver of energy) This will increase the amount of energy you draw in allowing you to give more in your healing and allow you to to drain yourself as much in the process. By doing this you emit more energy for healing others and take in more for healing and refreshing yourself. That is just a basic way to increase your healing abilities instantly. There are other ways that will allow you to increase your over all ability faster then normal and by doing so you healing will be more effective even when the crystals are not there to aid you. Programing: Crystals receive their programing on thought. You don’t have to have any physic abilities to communicate with people, because the crystal will pick your thoughts up if they are direct. If you direct your thoughts to the crystal telling it to preform a certain function it will pick it up and do so. The probably most single important thing to remember when programing is to experiment. Remember the crystal attunes itself to you so if you feel a need to program it to draw in energy for you so you will be more efficient during the day then do it. If you want to try something evolving manipulating or feeling energy then try it.
