BLOODSPORT II (1996)
MORGAN'S RATING
Alex is a talented street fighter and thief who ends up in a tortuous prison camp after stealing an ancient ceremonial sword from wealthy Malaysian businessman Leung. While there, he meets Sun, who teaches him humility, self-respect, and the deadliest of all fighting disciplines: The Iron Hand. Alex also learns the meaning of honor, and promises Sun that upon his release from prison, he will fight in the Kumite. Realizing he cannot recover the sword alone, Leung arranges for Alex's release from prison, with the agreement that Alex recover the sword from him. Keeping his commitment to Leung, Alex battles his way through the criminal underground, regaining the previous sword and his own lost honor. When he agrees to fight in the Kumite, he is unaware he would be fighting for his life against the most vicious monster ever to enter the Kumite arena.
