- A month before it's release, Warner Bros. pushed the release date of this film back from October to November 2003. This is the first Dark Castle movie not to get a traditional October release.
- In May 2003, Halle Berry broke one of her ulnas (the major bone between the wrist and the elbow) during a stunt for the film. In the scene, Robert Downey Jr. was supposed to grab her wrist and twist, but twisted too hard and the wrist snapped. Production halted for three weeks.
Pete Graham: I don't believe in ghosts.
Miranda Grey: Neither do I, but they believe in me.
