The Diferance
My dream is for the world
to become a peaceful and harmonious place. Hopefully, the next generation
of children will still be able to see the green trees,
sparkling rivers, unpolluted
air and the many living things we have now. I hope that this generation
of children who will lead the countries in the future will
make the difference. I hope
and pray for our world and hope others will do the same. The war will never
stop until the greed of mankind stops.

The water is clear...
yet tastes like the tanks that hold it.
The air is clean...
though it smells like the machines that clean it.
The grass is green and the trees are tall...
when they flash before my eyes on a screen.
The world is a beautiful place...
at least the old books say it was.
Now we travel across existence in search of a new one.
We must find it soon for our water and food are fading.
Sometimes I wonder if we could have saved the old Mother Earth.
Perhaps I could have saved it.
Then my conscience,
my voice of reason,
my human nature answers my wonderings.
"You fool, what could you do?
You are only one person!"
I realize now,
what could I do?
What could we have done?
After all, each of us is only one person.
