Don’t
take this list very seriously; it’s
just another Top 50 like any other. So don’t
be bothered if you don’t find your favourite
albums; just look at it, and give it a chance.
All these lists look pretty
much the same. You’re all going to find
the same albums everywhere so this selection
tries to be at least something different.
Besides the typical classics (what “Best
of the 90s List” would be if there’s
no Nirvana’s Nevermind?), you’ll
find some underrated albums (First Band
on the Moon by The Cardigans), and some
records that are not necessarily the best
of their decade but deserve some recognition.
This so-called list also
follows some rules. The first and more obvious
one is that all the albums must have been
released in the 90s. You should know that
I consider this decade from 1991 to 2000 (since
when the number tens starts at zero and finished
at nine?). Also, only one record per artist
was permitted (with the only exception of
Radiohead that had two distinctive creations).
Having that rule, some great albums were left
out to give space to some forgotten albums
by the same artist or band.
Before you enter, there
are some lists below where you can see some
albums (that I liked or not) that were not
included for diverse reasons. |

Favorites
Some
critics' favorites you'll find in any
other list except this one. They're
not there because they just missed a
spot, because I replace with some other
interesting album or maybe, becuase
I don't like them. |
