An evil entity, Night Spectre holds court in his inner sanctum of lost souls like a dark, malevolent god. Within his inner sanctum, he holds the soul of Iris Simpson, the wife of his arch enemy Speed Demon I as well as Jay Garrick.
Night Spectre desperately seeks the Souls of Power, which hold the keys to heaven, hell, and earth. He walks the Earth by possessing the souls of weak-willed and using them as his mindless minions, though it disgusts him to do so.. Night Spectre has many minions, including Arrowcaster, Scarecrow, and Silicon Man.
Night Spectre was currently involved in a contest with rival demon Etrigan to be the first to collect 6,666 souls. SPD
