- JLA #21-22:
- Over the years, The Justice League of America had vanquished the vilest villains with ease-now, however, they find the themselves thwarted by Felix Faust, Chronos, and Dr. Alchemy, the crafty Crime Champions! Little do the JLAers know that the secret of their foes' sinister success lies in their alliance with the other Crime Champions-those from the parallel world called Earth-Two! Together, these secondary super-criminals-Fiddler, Wizard and Icicle, all foes of the JLA's Earth -Two counterparts, the Justice Society-conjure up a shady scheme to help their Earth- One brothers annihilate the heroes of both worlds!
- Trapped within their own Secret Sanctuary by the Crime Champions' malevolent magic, the Justice League of America is helpless to stop the dimension-spanning crime spree that endangers the inhabitants of two Earths! Finally, in a last, desperate attempt escape, the Justice League spins a sorcerous spell to contact their missing member, Rash. Though the Scarlet Speedster is revealed to be a captive of the Crime Champions himself, he nevertheless hands his teammates a vital key to their release by suggesting they summon the legendary Justice Society of America to their side!
- Not even the magic of the Crime Champions can hold the heroes of two Earths for long-and when the Justice Society arrives to help free the Justice League, the mightiest super-heroes of both worlds renew their assault! Within hours, however, they are trapped once more, this time in a series of prison cages anchored in a distant dimensional void! Though each cell is designed to neutralize its captive's superpowers, The Green Lanterns use their terrific power rings to mimic The Atom's shrinking abilities and unchain their teammates! Within minutes, the Champions are at last apprehended and the Justice League returns to its own world-but not before vowing to team with the Justice Society again some day!
