Be warned, what follows is a description of a person that can only be called abnormal ;) (But, really, who in their right mind wants to be normal?)

My name is John Forsyth, I'm a twenty-something guy who has FINALLY gotten his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University in Computer Science  Whee!

My passions and hobbies include art, gaming (and subsequently programming), books, and other such things. I love everything about art, I've done a lot with many different mediums. My experience ranges from classes taken throughout my school career as well as a lot of time spent creating artwork myself. There have been many influences in my art. They are George Allen, Bryan Griggs, and Rick Graham, with which I consider myself a friend to them and student of their masterful understanding of art. I have learned and matured under their tutelage and am forever in their debt, as I wouldn't be were I am in art today without their guidance. There are many artists I have admired throughout history. I love Giovanni and Durher, as well as a multitude of others. Salvidor Dali and Bosch are great inspirations as are Larry Elmore and Michael Whelan.

I'm an artist. There is something wonderful about seeing something emerge from your hardwork and flourish. If its a glimpse of a world ("Just to the left of reality" - James Christensen) through the window of a painting. Or if it's a world where, through the magic of computer code, someone can interact with a virutal world. Both are the same to me, they allow me to create glimpses into worlds that might be and let me share them with others.

So, that's a little bit about me. If you've made it this far, I'm impressed. So, if you're not shaking your head in disbelief that I haven't been put away in a state hospital, enjoy your stay here!
