Tell me how to beat this Castle Age masterpiece with 75 pop. 5 crossbowmen in a tower firing on your gate 5 calvary archers, 15 Woad raiders, 10 pikemen, 7 knights, and 15 long swordsmen. That is what happened to me just this morning on the zone. His name is kapili41 or something like that. We started in the Castle Age with low resources and 75 pop for a challenge.
Mangonels or Onagers if you were imperial those cav archers are the only portable ranged units. The tower can be outranged by a mangonel if it hasn't been upgraded if it has just get 6 mangonels 3 on tower 3 on units. They will fall quickly and its cheap defense too! Mangonels can hurt about 9 units at a time when clumped up. The cavalry archers have a poor attack so get 1 of your 3 attacking mangonels to go for them first the other 2 on infantry.

I just visited your website for the first time and I took your AoK Quiz. I thought it was pretty cool! Did you write that Java yourself? BTW, I want to "argue" with you about one of your questions in the quiz...question number two, where you ask what the Teutonic Knight is...I answered monk, but you say the correct answer is knight. Well, this is where I disagree. Teutonic Knights were an order of Monks who became knights to fight in the Crusades, so maybe you need to have a combination choice, such as a Monk/Knight!
Anyway, it's not a big deal. I am going to snoop around your site some more. You have obviously put a lot of time into it!
Thanks IamtheCragKing for sending me an e-mail. I got the Javascript off a website (Javascript Source at the bottom of the page) but I customised the questions and the amount you have to score etc. About the Teutonic Knight. The correct answer is an infantry unit. Monks heal and convert units. Knight is the "trick" answer. Thanks again for the e-mail I will put it up in the AOEII Club if you don't mind me doing so. Its my first E-mail about my website :) I expect everyone will get that right now I've told you all!
