See Who I Am | Who Will? | ||
See who I am | Who will laugh with me, talk with me?
not the masks that I wear | Who will calm all my fears?
to hide my fears | |||
to hide my tears | Who will share secrets and sorrows?
See who I am. | Who will shed a few tears?
Like an actor on a stage | Who will give a hug and a smile,
I put on masks to hide myself | Just to show that they care?
I am many persons in one | |||
Sad and happy, old and young | Through good times and bad times,
See who I am. | Who will always be there?
Look beyond my carefree laugh | Who's the one I can count on,
Look beyond the smile I wear | Whether I'm happy or blue?
When I say don't worry 'bout me
Please read between the lines | The answer is easy...
See who I am. | My friend .... it is you.

Thundering Silence |
I cried out for you, | |
I listened and heard: | |
the rain gently falling |
|
dripping through the trees; |
|
one lonely bird sang |
|
three quiet notes; |
|
wipers on a car, |
|
whispering back and forth; |
|
but where your words | |
should have been, | |
What did I hear? |
|
Thundering silence in my ears. |

These candles burn in memory of Christine - my niece, my sister, my best friend. Rest in the arms of angels Chris, you will live in my heart forever. |
