See Who I Am   Who Will?

  See who I am   Who will laugh with me, talk with me?
  not the masks that I wear   Who will calm all my fears?
  to hide my fears
  to hide my tears   Who will share secrets and sorrows?
  See who I am.   Who will shed a few tears?

  Like an actor on a stage   Who will give a hug and a smile,
  I put on masks to hide myself   Just to show that they care?
  I am many persons in one
  Sad and happy, old and young   Through good times and bad times,
  See who I am.   Who will always be there?

  Look beyond my carefree laugh   Who's the one I can count on,
  Look beyond the smile I wear   Whether I'm happy or blue?
  When I say don't worry 'bout me
  Please read between the lines   The answer is easy...
  See who I am.   My friend .... it is you.

Thundering Silence

  I cried out for you,
  I listened and heard:

the rain gently falling

dripping through the trees;

one lonely bird sang

three quiet notes;

wipers on a car,

whispering back and forth;

  but where your words
  should have been,

What did I hear?

Thundering silence in my ears.

These candles burn in memory of Christine - my niece, my sister, my best friend.  Rest in the arms of angels Chris, you will live in my heart forever.
