I guess you didn't understand, and was it my attitude the way I walk or talk,

Well, that's not true 'cause if I did everything I'd not be close,
I try but I can't be what I should be. He came into the world
to give a chance for sinners like me to live with Him eternally. He said to:

Try and I will take care of the rest
So if you call upon My name
I'll take away all this pain
you still deserve though you gave your best"

Here I stand so weak. I struggle with everything you do and I usually fail.
but I'm not the one who gave His only Son and it's through Him alone that you will never fail.

Be like one yeah, who loves His only Son and
look to Him as the Savior for your sins so
Be like Him yeah, not like me 'cause I am trying just the same.
