Youth and Racism

The Arts Collective (TAC) shall be organising an initiative entitled “Youth and Racism” which will comprise cultural events on this theme with the aim of raising awareness in favour of tolerance, social inclusion and respect of diversity.

"Youth and Racism" is planned to span over a week between 9 and 15 May 2005 at the Labyrinth, Valletta, and shall include the following events:

An art exhibition between May 9 and 15
A poetry recital night on Thursday 13th May
A live concert (electronica) on Friday 14th May with performances
by Eerie, Particle Blue and Woody Aki
A discussion on Youth and Racism on Saturday 15th May (10am) chaired
by journalist James Debono and with the participation of Maria Schranz (Jesuit Refugee Services) and Minister for Education, Youth and Employment Dr Louis Galea (to be confirmed).
Various NGOs shall also be participating.
