The Barb (and Count Bugula)
Descend on Saint John
New Brunswick

The Barb had the opportunity to visit Saint John New Brunswick in October 2001.
Although I shopped (and shopped) trying to find some local art that was both interesting
and affordable, the only thing that really caught my eye was a stuffed bug that
was dressed as a vampire. I chose him to be my official mascot from New Brunswick
and photographed him at various places, including the B & B we were staying
(which was to die for -- a 16,000 sq ft converted Victorian with very TASTEFUL furnishings).

Count Bugula (or "CB") standing proudly on his ship
(actually he's just watching me pig out at a restaurant
-- all the restaurants there seem to have nautical
themes -- go figure!)

CD in the box seats at the Imperial Theatre
(Oh, did I mention I was there for the Eastern Showcase, Contact East).

CD standing outside the B & B where I was staying.
If you look really really closely, he's standing on the
stone ledge that borders the bushes
right next to the stairs about half way up.

Here's a close up of CB standing in the bushes.

CB decides he's should be part of this "art" piece.
