Gary Carter joined ELOPE in 1995 as part of the cast of "The Pajama Game". He was hooked! Although choral and solo choir work is fun, he says nothing compares to the rush of musical theatre. Last year, Gary played Arvide Abernathy in ELOPE's production of "Guys & Dolls". Gary also serves as President of the ELOPE Board of Directors and is a designer for the City of Edmonton Roadways Design, Transportation and Streets Department. |

![]() Bob Coe |
Bob Coe has sung on stage, radio, television, in lounges, quartets, choirs and choral groups in Canada and California, but "never in harmony, while executing choreography - and at Mach speed"! Bob headlined a Las Vegas-styled musical revue, "Up Your Can Can" that performed in Edmonton during Klondike Days some years ago. In the mid-60s, while attending Alberta College, Bob and mother (singer, songwriter, poet - Connie Coe) collaborated on the college anthem which Bob premiered (with a quartet) at the annual convocation. A broadcast newsman, Bob has worked for a number of the older, established radio and television stations in Edmonton. He won numerous awards for documentary film and television commercial productions in the 1970s, and wrote, produced and directed a number of educational film programs for MEETA, now The ACCESS Network. A graduate of Radio and Television Arts at Los Angeles City College in Hollywood, and with a Bachelor's degree majoring in Film Production from San Diego State University, Bob may be best known for producing, directing and hosting a ten-year series of television programs called "4-H Clubtime". Bob sang for a season with the Edmonton-based "Lynne Singers", was a featured guest of "The Harry Boon Show", on Edmonton radio and "The Elwood Glover Show" televised nationally from Toronto. A fourth-generation Vancouverite and Edmontonian, Bob celebrates "yet another birthday", the day after the Saturday show closes. |
