The Ride to DaggerFalls

(sung to the tune of 'The Ride to Agadir' by Mike Batt)

From: Brandon Cameron Lawrence Lancaster

Greetings!

My name is Brandon Cameron Lawrence Lancaster of Landwestmore-Summerfield, generally known as Brandon the Bard (or the Blue Bard) Upon visiting this most invigorating College I would like to leave for posterity one of my own songs, written to commemorate the liberation of Daggerdale. It is written from the point of view of the forces of Shadowdale, which I consider to be my home, if a bard has any such thing.

We rode in the morning
Leaving Twisted Tower's walls
To the Border Mountain foothills
And the town of Daggerfalls
For the Glory of the Dalelands
We had readie'd swords and wands
For the Ashes of our Fathers
And the Children of our Sons
For the Ashes of our Fathers
And the Children of our Sons

In the dry Winds of Summer
We were sharpening the Blade
We were riding to act upon
The Promis we had made
From the Tesh down to the Arkhen
None of our Enemies shall sleep
Until we've ended the intrusion
By the Force of Zhentil Keep
Until we've ended the intrusion
By the Force of Zhentil Keep

And though they were waiting
And they were fifty to our ten
They were easily outnumbered
By a smaller Force of men
As darkness was falling
They were soon to realize
We were going to relieve them
Of their god-forsaken lives
We were going to relieve them
Of their god-Forsagen lives
(repeat first strophe)
