It was December 31st 1999. The pub was closed at tea time and all the staff had arrived. There was a karaoke on that night which had already been set up so we all decided to sing a few songs. Michelle had sung Fairground Attraction's "Perfect". After she had sung it the presenter played it back to us (he'd recorded it) Michelle was quite impressed with her singing. I then had the idea of recording us all and putting it on a CD. I then hit upon the idea of forming a group and making that CD. Beacuse we had all worked in the pub I decided to call us "The Barstaff" and this web site exists to promote our dream. With MP3, recording software and a CD writer the dream is within reach.
