What is a Replacement Battery?
Replacement batteries are batteries manufactured by a factory other than the one where the manufacturer of your gadget originally outsourced it. Replacement batteries are manufactured in the same specifications required by your gadget's manufacturer. It's just like buying Outlast when your car originally came with a Motolite.
How do your products size up with original batteries?
All our products are equal to or better than Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Batteries. Our products are manufactured within the same specifications as OEMs. Our products are sold cheaper because you do not have to pay for intense marketing of your manufacturer's brand. You pay for the battery, not the name.
It is also worthwhile to note that none of the manufacturers of your gadgets actually manufacture the batteries themselves. These are outsourced from businesses like ours.
Are your batteries Imitations or Class A products?
No, our products are Replacement Batteries carrying our own brand. We do not label our batteries as originals nor do we claim them to be. Imitations and Class A Batteries are fake and are branded to look like they are originals. Businesses offering imitations or class A batteries usually offer warranties of 1 to 4 weeks, if they offer any at all, since this is most that they can vouch for. These businesses are usually run by 'Fly By Night' operators since manufacturing and trading of imitations and class A products are illegal.
How are your products different from OEMs, Imitations and Class A Batteries?
Unlike Imitations and Class A Batteries, our manufacturing facilities as well as our products have passed the international attestation of ISO 9001, RoHS, UL and CE Certification. Furthermore, we offer a 1 Full Year Replacement Warranty on all our products.
Costwise, our products are way more economical than OEMs. You get the same quality for a much lower cost.
Do you have a local store where we can buy your products?
We only sell retail via eBay.Ph. Although our operations are based in Pasig City, Philippines, we do not have a physical store where you can purchase our products off the shelf.
Why don't you have a physical store?
We aim to provide our customers with the most cost-effective way of purchasing batteries for their portable media devices. Putting up a physical store will mean an increase in our overhead. Rent, inventory costs, manpower costs, business permits and similar expenses will have to be added to the cost of our products thereby increasing the burden for our buyers.
Furthermore, the main cell component of batteries are perishable and become stale a couple of months after production. Batteries stocked for months will not reach their maximum rated performance.
Do you do pick-ups or meet-ups?
We do not offer local pick-ups or meet-ups at the moment. All paid orders are shipped via International Registered Air Mail/Parcel because all our products are shipped directly to our customers from our manufacturing facility in Hongkong (unless otherwise stated).
I can't wait, is there a faster way I can receive my order?
Upon request, we also ship via Fedex for an additional PHP1450.00 for the first item not exceeding 500g and PHP350.00 for each succeeding item not exceeding 500g. Delivery is anywhere from 4 to 7 days.
I don't have an eBay account, can I still purchase from you?
Yes. In fact, about 35% of our online retail orders are successfully done outside eBay.Ph. Just send an email with your Full Name, Complete Shipping Address and Item Order to info@thebatterysource.com.ph. We will reply with information on how to go about with the transaction.
Our transactions are just as secure. We send you the same information and provide you with the same great service even outside the confines of eBay.Ph.
I confirmed my purchase via eBay.Ph. How can I pay you?
Shortly after you confirm your purchase via eBay.Ph, an invoice will be sent to your registered email address containing our account details for payment and your total amount due. We accept payments via Paypal, Globe Gcash and bank deposits via our BPI or UCPB accounts.
How do I pay via Paypal? Peso currency payments are not offered there.

Do you sell wholesale?
Yes, we do. For wholesale inquiries, please send an email to info@thebatterysource.com.ph with your name, address, landline number and your required item/s. We will get back to you with the information shortly.
How are orders packed?
Small items such as PDA or Camera Batteries are packed either in retail packaging or are boxed and are secured inside a bubble wrap envelope. Click here for images.
Bigger and much heavier items such as Laptop or Segway Batteries are packed in anti-static covers before they are enclosed and sealed in foam-lined corrugated boxes and insterted inside large bubble wrap envelopes. Click here for images.
We use inconspicuous bubble wrap envelopes to make our packages look ordinary and therefore avoid interest.
15 working days have passed and my Local Post Office has not contacted me yet. What do I do?
Please contact us via SMS or email so we can help you track your package manually.
My gadget's battery is internal, how do I replace it?
We send out instructions on how to replace internal batteries for iPods and some PDAs. The guide is fairly easy to follow depending on how good you are on DIY jobs. If you are not comfortable doing it yourself, contact us and come to our location and we will replace the battery for you free of charge.
