Aims & Objectives


In order to clear up any misimpressions about the purpose and aims of "The Bentilean" magazine, we print below the above for your information.



"The Bentilean" magazine aims to (in order of priority:-

1) To entertain;

2) Provide the chance of publication to local people and to provide an audience for their creative output;

3) To provide news and information regarding local groups, events, and initiatives;

4) To provide a forum for local debate by commenting on local news, issues, and organisations, and publishing any opposing views resulting from such comment;

5) To provide a platform for people and organisations, regardless of their political or religious bias, to put forth their views -- within the limitations of the law;

6) To promote a positive image of Bentilee;

7) To do the above within the limitations of my abilities and resources.

NOTE

These aims and objectives are the result of the feedback and experience provided by the two issues published to date. They are subject to modification in the light of future events.

RIGHT TO REPLY

"The Bentilean" magazine offers the right to reply to anyone offended or criticised by it. This offer extends to giving equal prominence and space to those so offended/criticised -- without editorial response, unless this is requested.
