In the course of my genealogical research, I have collected Biele information from a variety of sources.  Some of the persons listed are members of my family but many are not as I try to note all Bieles that I found.

Social Security

The United States Social Security administration publishes an index of deceased social security recipients.  The latest index goes through 2000 and lists 91 persons with the surname Biele.

Ship Logs

This lists all of the ship passengers with the surname Biele listed in the ship logs that I reviewed.  All were immigrants from Europe coming to the United States.  The records come from many sources including the recently published Ellis Island records.

NYC Certificates

The list provided here is of all the persons with the surname Biele that I have found in the New York City indexes of vital records.  These include birth, marriage, and death certificates.  The film numbers refer to the Family History Library microfilm where the record or certificate was found.

NYC Directories

This lists contains all of the persons or businesses with the surname Biele that I found reviewing the old directories of New York City.  Included are all listings from Trow's City Directory for 1860 to 1931 and the Telephone Directory for 1901 to 1926.  I did not check every year within these periods.

IGI Germany

A summary of Biele listings from Germany on the International Genealogical Index.  The IGI is maintained by the Family History Center.  Individuals are listed alphabetically.
