RUSSIA
I was born in the communist USSR of the 80s and I do believe that I carry some commie blood with me. I lived there for about 8 years before moving to Greece and only visited again in 1996. I do faintly remember some things from my old house and neibourhood (Moscow), but the city is changing all the time and I don't think I will be able to recognise it now. There were some friends that I left behind, but it was such a long time ago that I don't even remember all of their names, and I doubt that they would even recognise me. Some of my memories from Moscow include my first day at school, my first piano lesson, my first hockey experience, the snow and the cold. I haven't been back in nearly 10 years and haven't yet got any plans of visiting it any time soon, but it is definitely something that I must do. I don't have any particular relatives living in Moscow, but in a Samara, a lasrge city about 1000km east of Moscow. My father lives in Syberia at the momment, and I should find some time to visit him too. I believe that Russia has contributed to my love and passion for hockey, being one of the world's greatest powers in the game, and I am proud to carry it's banner on my hockey jersey.
