SPORTS Just like you would read on my CV, I am a big fan of sports. I am very interested in health and nutrition, and visit the gym regularly. There can't be a particular aport out there which I haven't played yet, except some camp ones like squash, badminton or cricket. I always seem to get into a particular sport, stick around for a few years and then move on to another one. I did this nearly all my life until I finally decided to stick with hockey, as it is something that I think about every day. I started off with ice-hockey in Russia, then when I moved to Greece I continued mostly with Basketball (something that I amm still a big fan of), Tae-Kwon-Do, Rhowing and eventually ice-hockey again. When I moved to England I was introduced to Inline hockey, it is pretty much exactly the same thing as ice-hockey but instead can be played anywhere as you don't need ice anymore. I have been a member of the Manchester Metrostars, the first Manchester University inline hockey team, and we came 2nd in the British Universities Inline Hockey Championships. Now that I'm in London, I am looking for my next hockey team, and will continue to play hockey (and basketball) for many years to come. |
