One Rain
If the sea you'll be for me,
I will not be the sea gull
that caresses your waters for a while
to relish their refreshing splendour
only to fly back to roam the sky.

If the sea you'll be for me
I shall not be the fish that dwells in you
and swims your depths, your widths,
but remains a fish in water,
never merging.

If the sea you are to me
I want to be a drop of water
and in you spread
my peer widths and breaths,

so when the sun will shine
together we shall rise
towards infinity,
only to stream back down again
as one rain...
back to POEMS
to him, whom my eyes may not behold
but my heart embraces like a jewel
