Introduction

I'm some kind of a Sherlock Holmes by nature.
Someone who has fun wondering about complicated things and digging to try to find explanations.I enjoy discovering how farther and farther associations of ideas can lead me in my diggings.

When I read, at Metallica boards, fans complaining about the lack of meaning of the most recent songs or about their too much symbolistic lyrics, I feel they're missing on something.
Or some of them say it would take too long to figure out what it's talking about…
Some people consider thinking long as some kind of illness. I guess some just feel as it's bringing them back to unpleasant school days !
Well, I'm a wonderer and I take it as the positive reason why I think so much.
Through the years, it became completely natural for me to relate things, to associate things I hear with things I've read, things I read with things I've seen, etc…
Listening to Metallica songs is for me like diving into a heavy dream : into an ocean of symbols which can leads to layers and layers of meanings.

I had never done it in a fully conscious way until recently : before I was kind of bathing into this ocean, just feeling and enjoying the vibes I was getting from it.

A month ago, encouraged by a friend in a strange way, I pondered on No Leaf Clover and tried to dig out of it all I could. To my surprise it came very naturally out of me and I even found it was more interesting than what I thought it would be.
Interesting and fun tend to have the same meaning in my own little universe.
For me, something interesting is something that catches my attention, stimulates my senses and intensify my perceptions. When I get interested, life gets thicker, richer, more intense,… fun !

My own little universe… Remember those words while reading what I write about those songs.
I'm not a scholar, far from that… I don't have the experience and the culture of a perfect modern Sherlock Holmes. And I'm not a fan who knows everything there is to know about Metallica.
So don't be surprised if you see I obviously ignore some important facts about them that could help me understand a song better. Any insight will be welcome : I enjoy learning about what interests me.

Also keep in mind that each thing I write is written with respect and care, honesty and frankness.
