At the left is a photo of Ruby, the mother of the new pups.
On the right is a photo of K.C., the sire of the litter.
It was important for us to meet the pups' parents, to get an idea of their size and disposition. Ruby has a bright sunny personality and seemed extremely mellow and she was about the height and weight of the dog we were looking for.
Also, when we went up to Golden Acres, it was understood that we were going also going up to be examined by Bev to be sure that we were a family that was worthy of owning one of these exceptional dogs.
Bev is very picky about selecting owners for her babies and not everyone who comes around with a checkbook looking to take home a dog or horse makes the grade. |
