Dave Constantine, a native of Wisconsin, brings his artistic talents to turkey calls among other things. Dave has won numerous awards for his artwork and call making not to mention numerous feature articles of his work. Below is all but a sample of his artistic endeavors. Dave has also donated his work to organizations including the NWTF that has helped raise thousands upon thousands of dollars to help benefit conservation. This call is made out of solid cherry and is completely carved in deep relief. Featuring two gobblers among giant oak leaves. Handle features carved acorn wrapped in oak leaves and lid features carved turkey feathers. The peg is solid deer antler carved to look like a real acorn.
This box call features an indian maiden nude, reclining on the bow of a canoe, hand carved of butternut, this forms the lid. The peg is carved deer antler and the box has deer antler handles front and back. The hinge end handle is a beautifully carved eagle head, done in abstract style. The box itself is river birch carved in negative relief, a lake scene and woodland turkey scene, one on each side.
