Mr Personality Vacancy The Bet Pendulum

Released Aug '97, originally on Blah Blah Blah Records, but now available here and thru Corduroy Records. All songs were recorded on Stu's 4-track, mostly after he returned from the Surrealists USA tour of '96. Stu laid down all tracks on "Mr Personality" & around the same time Del & Stu did a whole bunch of live bass/drum tracks, from which came "Vacancy", then Stu hunted down trombonist Tatiana Pajo, who came in to add her great bone parts to both songs. "Pendulum" began life in '94 as a very long percussion jam, Stu on drums, Del & Nique Needles(from Doghouse) on an instrument that was basically a lot of cake tins welded together(an invention of Ian Weir from Organism). Stu added all other parts, but when time came to master all the tracks in Atlantis, discovered the lead vocals had gone missing! So they were added there in '96, along with BV's. "The Bet" was built too around '94 by Stu & Del, who add a range of sounds(Del on bone for the first time, Stu/Del share accordian duties, horns by Stu..).
