Bone-player, surf guitarist, electro loop-meister, avant-garde composer, keyboardist, educator, writer, socialite...

Hails from Victoria, Australia, has played for Brass Bed since '98 on trombone & more recently, clarinet...Popped up in many a Melbourne group: some-time trombonist for space-instrumentalists SILVER RAY, the trashy GAMMA RAYS and disco-ers BUTT FUNKY, he dons a cow-skin for NO BULL streetband. Ex-guitar for the Ziggy Stardust inspired THE STUFF, he lent a surf-cum-spaghetti twang to euro-western outfit THE BLACK CABINET, for which also wrote songs. As well, he's a veteran of the Melbourne reggae/African music scene & maintains an electro side-project called PLASTIC POMPEII.

In 2004, Tim & Sherab Holley released a self-titled double CD called SUB_TILE, which also features another Brass Bedfellow, Rhys Braddock on drums. It's an avant-garde musical exploration with improvisation at its heart & prominently features violin, trombone & treated samples of water sounds. This music & other compositions have been used to underscore dance performances and other art-based events.

As well, Tim performed across Australia with THE SCHWANZKOPF TRIO as part of the touring play "My Secret Marlene". The trio has continued to gig, beyond the play. In early 2005, he took the role of production adviser on Madame Josephine's "Whipped Cream" Kabaret/cookery show at the Melb Comedy Fest. Also, Tim's music & sound design was featured in a film called "Satellite" by Ben Seth, shown at the 2005 Melbourne Film Festival.

He moved to Brisbane to study Composition in late 06.
