~*Eniara Kiserai Kisharad*~
Born in Kandor, Eniara Kisharad, now 18, is the granddaughter of Lord Miltan and Lady Lilean Kisharad. Standing five foot, ten inches tall, she has her father's strong blue eyes and her Andoran mother's dark blond hair. Some have called her pretty but she is more interested in knowledge than looks. She likes men but has never chased after them and she adores her younger brother Thim. Animals are also one of her loves and she takes great pride in her mare, Kiserai. Because of the circumstances in which she grew up, Eniara never had a chance to make many friends. The few that she did have, though, were loyal and honest.

They didn't turn their backs on her when the going got rough. Though a Noble, and a cousin (once removed) of Kandor's Queen Ethenielle, she doesn't flaunt it and likes being seen on a par with others. She tries to be on good terms with everyone she can but she can be quite stubborn at times. Her goal is to become a strong Aes Sedai who will earn respect from all and one day be able to put her grandmother in her place. If necessary, Eniara is ready to spend the rest of her life working toward these goals.
Eniara's History:
Eniara Kisharad sat on the grass with a sigh. Her mare grazed contently nearby and there was no one else on the straight dirt road. Off to the south-east the shining walls of Tar Valon glittered in the afternoon sunlight. It seemed so long ago that she had first envisioned those walls. So long since she had fled her home and the life she could no longer endure. Her only regret was leaving her younger brother behind. Thim was only a year old and she four when their father had died fighting Trollocs in the Blight. Their mother was also killed in a fall from her horse the following summer. She very vaguely remembered their faces. However, the image of her father in her head was a mature picture of what her brother was becoming. He was only 15 now but he had his father's blue eyes and their mother's dark blond hair. Yes, he did look like his sire and their grandmother never failed to remind him.
Eniara wished he could have come but he would never have been happy out of the Borderlands. Eniara and Thim had been raised by their father's parents. Eniara had few memories of her loving parents and many of her grandmother that she tried very hard to forget. It was a shame that things were as they were and Eniara wanted to erase the old with new.
Lady Lilean Kisharad was a woman with power...both in the political and mental sense. Born Lilean Noramaga, she was a spoiled terror as a child. She loved to get her way and she was "always" right. No matter what. It never went away. When her brother's daughter, Ethenielle, became Queen of Kandor, Lilean moved up in society and married Miltan, High Seat of House Kisharad. Eniara belived that it was not a loveless marriage. Just, any affection was almost non-existant. As a child, Eniara had no idea what being raised by Lord and Lady Kisharad would entail. By the time she was ten, it was already a nightmare. Shanlea sighed. "Never again. I will never to go back to be treated that way ever again!"
To most, Eniara did not have a hard life. Being a Noble, she had the best education. Learning the arts and languages. She was not too shabby in the old tongue by the time her tudors left. Along with her academics came horsemanship and knife fighting...common knowledge for Borderland women. She could ride with some of the best and hold her own sparring. She was even given a beautiful gray mare she called Kiserai (Glory). Eniara might have felt pampered if not for her grandmother.
All Eniara's life, Lady Lilean had made Eniara feel worthless. None of her needs, desires, or even feelings counted for anything. The world seemed to revolve around the mistress of Kisharad Manor and Eniara was trapped within. The last straw had been the discovery of Eniara's in-born ability to channel. An Aes Sedai had come to Kandor and had discovered her. The Aes Sedai explained the situation to her grandparents and informed them that Eniara needed to go to Tar Valon.
Lady Lilean would have nothing of it. She locked Eniara in her room (for about the tenth time) and sent the Aes Sedai away empty handed. Her reasoning was that at 18, Eniara was too young to travel that far from home and that the family needed her help. "Help with what?" Eniara had yelled back at her to no avail. When the Aes Sedai was bullied into leaving, she decided she was going to leave with or without permission. After three days of confinement, Eniara was finally freed, and she slipped out in the night. Taking just enough food and a couple changes of clothes, she took Kiserai and started the long journey to the Tower.
Now, her journey's end was in sight. Whatever the White Tower was going to bring, it had to be better than the place she had left. To be Aes Sedai would give her freedom well worth the price, as well as a place to finally belong. Eniar stood and stretched. Mounting Kiserai, she headed off toward the bridges that would take her to her future. Traveled the road to destiny and never looked back down the dusty trail.
