It's a gimmick so money I can't belive it took so long to come up with. Supposidly, Tazz and Raven came up with the gimmick, to have a stable of wrestlers of different nationalities be brothers from a different mother. They were the Dudleys, and they hailed from Dudleyville.

As the story goes, in the 1970s, Big Daddy Dudley was a great wrestler, and would travel around to all the territories. As he would travel from place to place, he would knock up women. His children would become the Dudley Boyz. Eventually all of the half-brothers met in Philadelphia to wrestle for ECW (was it fate or just luck? The world may never know.)

The family is led by Bubba Ray Dudley, the Mayor of Dudleyville. D-Von Dudley is from South Central Dudleyville and is the most righteous Dudley. The other Dudleys are Big Dick Dudley (RIP Alex Rizzo), Sign Guy Dudley, Dances with Dudleys, Chubby Dudley and the fiesty Little Spike Dudley. They have been accompanied at one time or the other by Joel Gertner, Judge Jeff Jones and more recently Stacy Kiebler and Trish Stratus.
