The Burgos CF in the 50´s

<<<<<<<<Carro		 This is one of the most beautiful chapters in
our club´s history. At the end of the 40´s the club changed his denomination.
Now is Burgos CF. And that time the success was ready to come. I show you two interesting photographs of the early 50´s. In one, we see one of the best players of the club in the last 40´s: is the striker Carro, a very speed player born in nearby Logroño.
The other one is a treasure in itself. Is the
beginings of a friendly match played in the
summer of 1951 in the course of the city´s
"San Pedro Fiestas". The match is a Burgos vs
Athletic Bilbao, and we can see the two
captains: Carro and the legendary player
Zarra, the best striker for Spain in the World
Cup Brazil´1950.

<<<<<<<Burgos CF <vs<At. Bilbao<in Zatorre.<<<1951,< June.		 
 At the end of the 1951-52 season, our clubs win the 3rd Division and reach for the first time the
spanish 2nd division.  The results were very dissapointing because the team was not very strong,
and at the end, the Burgos Cf goes back to the 3rd Division.
But I can tell you more about this 52-53 season.  Here are the team and the results:

After a few seasons in 3rd division, the club again reach the 2nd división.  Was after an 
incredible final play off at Durango, when the Burgos CF won 2-5 and reach the target.
But as before, the club doesn´t resists and go back to the 3rd Division.  Was the 56-57 
season.  
And now, after a season, a new president was elected in 1958: Mr. Jose Luis Preciado.
