Hello folks.
This is the former denomination
of our club.
If you go to the "The
city of Burgos" section,
you could see how charm and beautiful
this town of northern Spain is. In that
city, the old days that went on after the
civil war
takes to the scene a new club and a new
stadium. The club was denominated as
Gimnástica Burgalesa,
and the stadium was called Zatorre.
Here you have two old photographs of this
club. This one is from the 1943-44
season,
and the team was in the 3rd
Division in between 1943
- 1952.
The players are: Garcés; Tino,
Echezarreta, Lecuona, Clavé, Carro,
Bilbao, Urrez, Azcue, León, Bermejo.

In 46-47 the Gimnástica Burgalesa was second and promoted to play the final phase of
the National 3rd division. That is a photo and the final results:
