LOU'S COMMENTS: This is a must have recording. Taken from the original master tapes, from Austrailian radio & TV, the sound & The Fabs performance are outstanding! These were the first two shows that Ringo did, following his two & a half week illness & replacement by Jimmy Nicol. The evening show (tracks 13-15, 18, & 20-21) was broadcast on Austrailian TV as "The Beatles Sing For Shell" and is available on video as The Beatles Live In Austrailia. Some of that broadcast was featured in The Beatles Anthology, Tape 3. All of the evening show tracks, except #19 are also available on Jelly Beans Hailing In Dreamlike Noise. Other Austrailian performances (Adelaide with Jimmy Nicol) are available on The Beatles And Jimmy Nicol.
