LOU'S COMMENTS: Another must have, from the fantastic folks, at Vigotone!!! The complete rooftop concert and the first master mix of "Get Back". The sessions took place, at Apple Studios and Glyn John's mixed the recordings on 03/10/69-03/13/69 & 05/07/69 & 05/09/69, at Olympic Sound Studios, in London. The Beatles & Billy Preston put on a spirited performance, despite the weather, in their last "concert" together. The sound quality is quite good, but raw, which is what the entire concept of "Get Back" was about. Tracks 12-14, 15(with new lead vocal track recorded on 01/05/70) & 17-21 made the final cut (albeit cleaned up sound wise) for Let It Be, in 1970. Some of the rooftop concert is featured in the films Let It Be(in which Track 22 closed the film), The Compleat Beatles, Imagine: John Lennonand The Beatles Anthology, Tape 8. Tracks 9 &16 are also available on Anthology 3
