Mary-Kate and Ashley admit that their toughest problem occurred in The Challenge. Why? Because nearly everyone on the set got sick from the water in Mexico! "They call it Montezuma's Revenge," Mary-Kate says. "It's kind of funny, now that I can look back on it. You know since the video is called The Challenge."
Mary-Kate and Ashley had to cross another bridge in one of their most recent movies, The Challenge. This bridge was hung over jagged rocks, and it was made of rope. It was the kind of bridge that sways from side to side when you cross it, and it can flip over! And Mary-Kate and Ashley's characters had to cross it in order to win a Survivor-type competition. "The crew was nervous about us walking the bridge--even with the safety harnesses, " Ashley recalls. "But Mary-Kate and I were up for it." Another "challenge" involved balancing on a tall telephone pole, which was standing out in the ocean. "The top of the pole was about the size of a plate," Ashley remembers. "And I had to stand on it for almost an hour without falling into the water." There are times when you think you're seeing something in a movie, but it's really a fake. For example, in a scene from The Challenge, Mary-Kate has to eat worms. And it looks like she really is! Yes, Mary-Kate had to dip her hand into a gross plate of real worms. But when you see her eat one, it's only a brown Gummi Worm.
