The most sophisticated super-sonorific
arrangement of sound, is the chief instrument of many rituals.
It is the concentrated symbol of
realization received from one in who the mantra (exercise in
remembrance) lies as conscious
energy. A
mantra is composed of certain letters arranged in a definite
sequence of sounds of which the letters are representative signs. The
actual purpose of the mantra is to establish close relationship and
personal identification between the practitioner and the divine
energy. Each mantra
creates
its own special kind of resonance in space, in the realm of the
subtle sound vibration.
