Big Websites You Can "Join"

Neopets.com: You get a neopet. Not a dog, not a cat, but weird cute little monsters that look cuddly and adorable. You get neopoints by playing games, and you use neopoints to feed your pet, buy weapons for your pet so it can battle other people's neopets, buy books for your pet, buy a pet pet for your neopet to care for... all these things. It's the place to go if you like fantasy. I like going there because I'm in a guild (a group, a club, etc) and it's fun to be in touch with them. My neopets are all dying because I haven't fed them in months. They never die, though. This is the site that inspired me to make my little webpage!
GaiaOnline.com: You get a little anime character. You get gold by posting in the forums, sending private messages to your friends, and just looking around on the site. This is a real A-NI-ME site. Overwhelming for me, even though I'm Japanese. I'm new to it, I just joined, so I don't know too much about it yet. There's a lot of graphics so it always takes minutes to load each page on my poor little dial-up computer. Anyway, so far the part that's fun for me is buying clothes for my character and playing dress-up. I haven't got too many clothes yet, though.

MySpace.com: It's a place where you can get a profile, a blog, and you can search for long-lost friends if they're joined on MySpace. There are a lot of people on MySpace. It's super popular. It's a very social place.

Funny Websites

Funnyjunk.com: Pictures, jokes, videos, songs, all funny. Some of it's "bad" so... take caution if you're offended by stuff like that. Heh.. who does get offended, anyways?
Becquet.com: A huge collection of great, funny jokes, all organized into categories. Reader's Digest uses this site for a lot of its jokes.
RatherGood.com: It has a bunch of flash videos. Hilarious. Some are just nice like the Blode series on there.
AlbinoBlackSheep.com: Go to "Flash Files" or to "Video Files" on the nav side bar. There are enough quality interesting things on there to keep you amused for weeks.

Websites that Helped Me Build This Website

CSShelp: A huge helpful index thing of CSS. Anything you need to know about CSS.
NuthinButNet.net: The absolute best place to start learning HTML. Very easy to comprehend.
w3schools.com: A great resource for stuff you can't find at the websites listed above.
Draac.com Color Chart: I look at this list of colors to decide which to use for the background color, etc.

Quizzes

SparkNotes.com: I think you have to sign up for this, too. I'm not sure. But it's the best quiz site I've found so far! Funny and fun to take from the Personality test to the IQ test to the Gayness test. Uhh... and they don't like Canadians.
SimilarMinds.com: A huge list of personality tests. These are more serious, accurate, and the questions are a little harder... but the results are interesting. See my results here.

Websites I found on Bored.com

Bored.com: You go to this website when you are bored. Or whenever. It has a bunch of great sites! Here's a list of good sites I found on bored.com.
MidiDB.com: MIDI Database. Find your favorite songs and hear them in the midi format. It's interesting. It downloads the songs (free!) in an instant, and they don't take up any space on your disk. Yay!
Rinkworks.com: It has a whole bunch of weird fun stuff. Nice place to waste your time.

Websites I Like That Don't Fit Into the Other Categories

journey-to-self.com: Very very interesting. I like this website. It'll tell you about astrology, feng shui, gemstone powers, meditation, and all those weird things. Love it.
oocities.com: Where my website is. If you're a member of Yahoo, you can build a website for free. Fun fun.
pencils.com: Pencils. How they're made, what's in them, etc. etc. etc.
SuckieCentral.net: The website of my favorite radio show. But they were fired. But the suckies are still alive! Yes!!
coolteeshirts.com: Yes, cool T-shirts. Fun to look at all the funny ones!

Music/Lyrics

ModernRockLyrics.com: Great place to look for rock lyrics. It's neat. Not so ad infested, like all the other lyrics sites!!
KornKids.com: If you like KoRn, it's a great website. It has everything. The only problem is that it's not very up-to-date.
mtv.com: Gosh it takes such a long time to load!! It's fun though. If you join it, you get your own inbox, fun profile to make, you can chat in the message boards and talk about music or whatever you want. It's also a good reference for music news, and you don't have to join for that.
Launch.yahoo.com: It's about music. You have to be a member of Yahoo to listen to the radio on here, but it's great. The best net radio I've come across. You rate the songs you like and don't like, and they play the songs they think you'll like.

Other people's cool webpages!

Nobody Here: This is a great place. There are so many pages to read and look at, and they're all "interactive" and there's some games. But it's all about a guy. A lonely, sort of odd guy... it's all really mysterious, too. You can get addicted to this website.
Here Lies Solitude: I found this person on Gaia. She posted very interesting opinions in the forum there and caught my attention. Come here and read her stuff! It's very entertaining!

Research Goodies

Yahoo! Search: Yahoo is the best search engine in the world. It lists better quality websites than Google. Yahoo rocks!!
Google Search: The second best search engine in the world. I like the Google logo, it's colorful and shiny-looking. Google logo... say "google logo" five times, fast!
InfoPlease.com: I love this encyclopedia/biography/dictionary site. It's a very useful and pleasant resource for schoolwork.
Encyclopedia.com: It's an OK resource.
FactMonster.com: Another encyclopedia site, but I think it's for kiddies. Still useful, though.
Wikipedia.org: Wikipedia is god. Easy-to-understand articles, articles about anything from psoriasis to Ares to the once popular phrase AYBABTU. Anything and everything is here. I love it.
