Just Be Thankful

Each day I wake up, with expressions on my face,
To make me realise it's a gift of God's grace.
To safely bring me through the night with no trace,
Of the prints he leaves in this hectic place..

It may be a death of someone close by,
When suddenly they are taken from our side.
But, as we take this moment to think,
Of the love and smile or even that wink.

Of that person whom we loved so dear,
It feels like someone has just stabbed us with fear.
We should be thankful for each day that shines,
And hold God's grace in our hands so fine.

You think you are ugly or not good enough,
But, it is your eye's that God's filled with love.
Your smile that God so gladly put on your face,
Has touched a soul who maybe searching for a safe place.

So, wherever you are or what ever you do,
Take that time to walk through the zoo.
For, it may seem so dark and cold down there,
But, it may be an answer to someone in prayer.

They send to God a note of concern,
That people around would like to see them burn.
For they live like scum and feed out of drums,
But, for some of them they know not even a sum.

If this world we want to be a better place,
First we have to get back to God's grace.
Thank him for each day in what ever place,
that we walk or even drift of to space..

For everyone has been placed here on earth,
To give a smile or maybe even a birth.
So, do not judge that person whol just passed by,
Cause God loves them justa s much as he loves You and I.....
