And Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his bother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of Men." And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. Matthew 4v18-20

Here in this passage we find Peter and his brother Andrew fishing. When Jesus walks by and calls them to follow him and he will make them fishers of men, What did they do? They left thier nets and followed. They didn't have to think about whether or not they should go, they just left it all behind and put their faith in the Lord and followed him.

Is this not how we should also be? When the Lord calls us, we should be like Peter and leave all our earthly joys and follow him. Trusting in him to supply us with all our needs. For he has promised to do so. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Philipians 4v19. We are also told "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6v33. That is exactly what each and everyone of us have to do, seek the kingdom of God and he will supply our needs, if we just believe he will. And he will make fishers of men out of you also.
