Thrasher - "Notes From The Underground" March 2001 Issue # 242 - A review of the Lizard Boy E.P. From some reason they spelled the bands name wrong, I have no idea where they got "seekers" from...

"Lizard Boy" Italy 7in EP
The lead off song "Rouge River Rebel" pretty sums these sick ones up. The Rouge River area of Detroit is best known for having the oldest, nastiest & dirtiest Ford Motor Company plant in the world. "Rust in the water/it's bad for you brain" Tim Vulgar slurs in a cheap vodka chased with Milwaukee's Best moan starting up and hittin' streets littered with burned up cars and boarded windows. The grime, the dirt and the blood. Those smokestacks filled the air for a hundred years before they were born. It's the mutations through the generations that leads to setting bread crumbs out by dumpsters wating for rats to come out and shooting them with a pellet gun for entertaiment. The product of cheeto's, backroom acid, getting backhanded and backseat blowjobs. All the retrospazz can go off about the '77 thang all day. Remember...These are defects!!! There's something seriously wrong in their heads. What a great record!!! (Italy Records/4530 Avery/Detroit Mi/48208 or Superior Sounds/512 S. Washington/PMB 279/Royal Oak Mi/48067)

The Clone Defects' "Not as Good as Gold":

kitty might be a little unconventional. So are the Clone Defects, though,
and they rock like bulldozers.
