The Challenge? Well, it was challenging. After years of abuse at Tree Links, their steadily rising greens fees and an ignorant, misguided no-water-on-the-course policy*, the CMGC abandoned the traditional home of The Challenge and moved to the Players Club at Foxfire. The Players Club and its infamous three holes are difficult enough, but this is The Challenge so we played it from the tips. It got the best of nearly everyone.
Everyone but Scott Kern that is. Despite a heavy course load at Ohio State, Scott kept his focus and his ball in play. His net 74 may well be a Challenge record. Here's how The Challenge ended up. Congratulations Scott!
