In today's world of high dollar IPOs and lucrative investment dollars, think for a minute about some statistics from this popular 500+ employee American company:

• 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
• 7 have been arrested for fraud
• 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
• 117 have bankrupted at least two businesses
• 3 have been arrested for assault
• 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
• 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
• 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
• 21 are current defendants in lawsuits
• In 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving

One of our astute members brought this to my attention. You may have heard Paul Harvey harping about this one day last week. Can you guess this American organization? It's the 535 members of your United States Congress. I had to stop to catch my breath! This isn't just the liberals, folks. It's the whole group; the whole group of defrauding, wife-abusing, drunk-driving, shoplifting bankrupt dopers, that is. The supreme irony is that these bozos are not in jail. In fact, we pay them salaries of hundreds of thousands of dollars to do this damage! Worse, we pay them to invent new and more pompous ways of confiscating our hard earned income! This "company" isn't just another overnight sensation internet startup. We supposedly have the power to choose the people who represent us. So how did these ass holes get to wear the big hats?

Here's how. By turning a blind eye, we have allowed our government to become Jaba the Hut. This fat, foul, self-serving, abusive ogre has been allowed to turn the table on us and run the show. That's not the way our Founding Fathers envisioned things. Elected officials were supposed to serve the people, not the other way around. Honest men of integrity were supposed to be elected by their peers to serve their country and then return to their civilian life. Instead, the political machine has created the Professional Politician. Losers like the 535 thieves who went to college to learn how to kiss ass and line their wallets with pork bellies.

It's got to stop. My idea is to enact a term limit of 1. You get elected, you serve, you are compensated fairly, you go home. That's it. No pork bellies. No selling favors. No abusing political power. In fact, no politics at all. Just business, nice efficient, profitable, capitalistic business. Now I'd vote for that. Get mad. Speak up. Thank you.
