CMHL WEEKLY INTERVIEW: This week Grinder interviewed Hecubus.

Grinder:
So Hecubus how many years have you been in the CMHL?

Hecubus:     Heh.. lets see.. since I was a sophomore in college so, 3 or 4 years whenever it started.

Grinder:    Wow do you still get pumped up before league night?

Hecubus:    Yep more than ever cause I can actually win against everyone in the league, whether I do or not is another story.

Grinder:    Many of us consider you to be among the elite players in the league, and most of us newer players consider beating you a mile marker in our young careers. Do you play a different game or style against less experienced gm's?

Hecubus:    Yes, against the less experienced ppl I have confidence and that usually kills me in the end, against the best I try keep it close then explode at the end.

Grinder:    Who are your favourite NHL 2000 players and why?

Hecubus:
Well CM 1st off because I like to copy all his moves and use them against him. (the only way to win), 2nd- Catfish cause he stopped the lag, 3rd Blades for quitting, 4th LL for being someone I can score 20 or more evertime... lol

Grinder:
lol.....For myself one of my favourite parts of being in the league and being a gm is the management stuff, trades etc. Do you trade often, and how do you like to prepare your team?

Hecubus: Well everyone knows I'm a bitch to trade with, I don't trade often but when I do its a big one, I like speed and if they're over 25 then I don't want em, the key is to get the most out of the draft and not trade away guys you can use.

Grinder:
Do you spend alot of time doing research on players for the drafts and trades?

Hecubus:    Nope, after 3 years I know what players are good, as far as trades I look at the persons previous trades and use it against em..

Grinder:    Who do you think is the most improved  gm/player in the league this season?

Hecubus:    Well Gremlin for gm and player not sure..

Grinder:    Ok last question. if you had to take a rookie gm under your wing and show him the ropes, what do you think the most important piece of advice you could give him would be?

Hecubus:     Well 1st thing, save your trick shots for lobby play, 2nd, call your isp your connection sucks, 3rd anyone can score alot of goals, but not everyone can play d...

Grinder:    Great thanks Hec good advice.

Hecubus:
Heh... nice ?'s it was fun.
