Pit @ Edm Review: The Pittsburgh Penguins scored 6 times in the 2nd period to break a tie and Pyatt had a 4 point night as the Penguins cruised to a 14-8 victory. Ana @ Mon Review: The Canadians pulled off a huge upset with Kapanen scoring in OT to win 4-3. Van @ Tor Review: Czerkawski had 4 points as the Canucks won easily 8-3 over the Leafs. Round 2 Ott @ Ana Review: The Ducks gave the Sens another loss this time by a score of 10-3. Dal @ Det Review: The Redwings Joe Thornton scored the game winner with a 5 hole to win 6-5. Was @ Tam Review: Blades had 7 points as the Lightning won a huge game over their rivals 13-11. Col @ Van Review: Defenceman Jay Bouwemeester had 4 points as the Canucks won 8-2 to continue their hot streak. Round 3 Pitt @ Ana Review: In a playoff calibre game, Jones won it for the Penguins with a great shot in OT to give the Penguins a narrow 7-6 win over the Ducks. Mon @ Det: Review: In a big upset, Cable 33 lead his team to a huge 6-4 win over the Redwings. Dal @ Tam Review: Second game of the night between these 2, and 2nd win for Tampa, this time 5-2. Edm @ Van Review: The Canucks did all their talking on the ice as they hammered the Oilers 13-7. Round 4 Was @ Pitt Review: Samsanov had 4 goals and an assist to lead the Penuins over the Caps 9-3. Mon @ Ott Review: LL's Senators lose again, this time they were crushed 15-0 by the suddenly hot Habs. Round 5 Pit @ Det: Review: Didn't live up to they hype as the Penguins dominated and won 11-6 and outshout the slumping Redwings 32-24. Ott @ Mon: Review: The Sens finally get their first win of the season, they were losing 2-0 early on and scored 5 straight goals to win 5-2. Col @ Was: Review: Zent had the game winner as the Caps got a much needed 7-6 win to stop the bleeding. Round 6 Col @ Dal: Review: Sakic had a hat trick and the Avs scored 5 goals in the 3rd to win 12-3. Was @ Det: Review: Points leader Laplante had another 4 goals and his Caps won for the 2nd time in a row this time with a close 11-9 win over the struggling Red Wings. Round 7 Edm @ Dal: Review: The Stars dominated in every way possible, they outshot the Oilers 31-6 and won 7-0 to hand the struggling Oilers their 3rd loss in a row. Tam @ Col Review: Savage and Sakic combined for 12 points as the Avs routed the Lighting 13-5. Ott @ Was Review: The Caps won their 3rd game in a row, this time hammering the Sens 14-4 to end the Sens winning streak at 1 game. Det @ Pit: Review: The Penguins got 3 points from Yashin and the Defence played great, as the Penguins won the 2nd game of the home and home series 9-5.
