The star of the week is a weekly award that is handed out to either the Player or GM who had the best performance of the week.  The award is an honor to win because the General Manager's of the league decide the winner in a vote that is held after each game week. See how many times you or a player from your team can win it!!

STAR OF THE WEEK

This weeks STAR OF THE WEEK winner is CM.  This is the second time this season that the commish has won the award already!  CM's Penguins started the night on the road in Edmonton and on the great ice they hammered the Oilers 14-8, they then continued on the road to Anaheim where they Jones scored in OT to give the Penguins a 7-6 win over Se7en's Ducks.  Next on the hit list were the Capitals and they went down 9-3 to CM and his defending champs.  To finish up the night CM had to face arch rival Grinder, and his Detroit Redwings in a home and home series.  CM managed to sweep the series by scores of 11-6, and 9-5.  So in the end CM went 5-0 with 5 wins vs very tough competition.  Unbelievable!!!!! Congratulations CM, this weeks CMHL STAR OF THE WEEK! This weeks runner up was Young Guns. YG went 3-1 with 2 wins vs Dallas by scores of 11-7, and 5-2, they also beat the Capitals 13-11.
