The Cobras were originally formed in summer of 2000 under the name “SWF”, with Danny Bastard and Isaias Scumbag on vocals, Dead Mike on Guitar, John Street on bass and Matt Starr on drums. The band wasn’t playing to their potential because the bassist and the drummer had lack of energy and talent. In summer of 2001, The Cobras got rid of Matt and John and picked up Adrian as a new drummer, Natalie as a new bassist as well as Orgy Boy as another guitarist. The music was doing just fine, in fact it had gotten a lot better. But, when it was time to get things going and start playing shows, Adrian didn’t want to because he felt The Cobras weren’t ready. This caused a problem because everyone else in the band felt that they were ready. The Cobras also had a problem with the new bassist because she was beginning to turn gangster and feminazi on everyone. So we pretty much gave them both the boot at the same time. At this time The Cobras were pretty stuck on who was going to be in the band. Before The Cobras were able to find anyone to be in the band, Dead Mike got sent to jail for 7 months, so The Cobras were put on hold for a while. When Mike got out, The Cobras were at it again, this time they came back all switched up. The new and currently standing line up is with Isaias Scumbag and Danny Bastard on vocals, Orgy Boy on guitar, Sparky Mark on bass and Dead Mike on drums. Now The Cobras are playing shows and ready to get their music going and building a small following that grows a little at every show.<.
