Ishmael Coffee, was born on 14 March 1741/42 in Needham, Massachusetts, the illegitimate son of Jupiter Coffee and Deborah Dunton.  He married (intention) in Medway, Massachusetts on 16 July 1768 to Hannah Gay.  Hannah was born on 8 Feb. 1751/52 in Wrentham, Massachusetts, the daughter of Edward & Margery (Rockwood) Gay, Jr.
