Born in Ashburnham, MA Stephanie Corby possesses a rich, soulful voice that transcends the borders of musical style. In the words of singer/songwriter Ellis Paul, "she has the kind of voice that can make the waters part..." Stephanie has successfully fused her classical, jazz and blues backgrounds into a distinct R&B flavored acoustic sound.

Upon graduation from the University of Massachusetts, Stephanie took the stage as lead blues woman fronting the nine-piece band Biggs Band. During those 4 years she fine-tuned her pure vocal talent and built a deep repertoire of blues and R&B classics. In the mid-90s Corby left the band and entered Boston's very competitive singer/songwriter circuit. Since then, Stephanie has recorded and performed with notable artists as Ellis Paul, Mary Gauthier, Don Conoscenti, Kevin So, and Dana Edelman and has opened for Paul, Jonatha Brooke, and Richie Havens. Rich Overton at WERS Boston says Stephanie is "one performer who knows how to take you in with her voice...she makes you feel what she sings."
